Sometimes it's a bit of a guessing game, but other times just by listening to a bit of the history and Hearing the person talk it out It just jumps out at you like okay. This is a range of motion type thing or this is just a load type thing You know, it doesn't ask the right questions and kind of listen sometimes you'll get the answer.
