The Fiber Type Specific Hypertrophy in Normal Strength Training
There's still this belief that we're going to get this greater hypertrophy effect from those slow twitch fibers type one fibers, right? If we're doing higher rep stuff, and something that I want to point out here is that that's over the course of, say, training to the same proximity to failure, you end up those don't have a significant degree of hypertrophy potential comparatively to type two fibers. So yeah, fine, we can have a conversation about whether fiber type specific hypertrophy actually occurs. I think effect is probably fairly small. I think it's probably limited largely to these slow eccentric phases, normal strength training. It's probably minimal in light those trained
