i love the principle of contrast because i think it's something that we intuitively understand. We can always make something more palatable by using anchoring. I want to touch on reciprocation because i think this is an amazingly under utilized principle. If you go into a room with people you want to be influential with, give them first information. Don't ask me who can help here? That person will stand on his or her feet in return for your help. It's costless. And the other thing does it besides producing a gift that you've given and been given back: You've established yourself as an authority which goes with it - so don't let anyone tell you what to do
