The Step Down RCT and the Comparison of the Results

Step down RCT recruited slightly quicker than the step up RCT, more patients were step post-exubation stepping into non-invasive ventilation. We showed that high flow nasal cania had a time to liberation from respiratory support of 50.5 hours compared to CPAP which is 42.9 hours. So we're going to focus now on the step up study and come back to the results at the end.
