How Did You Find the Right Opportunity for Medicare?
We were not a pioneer of that concept. That concept existed in certain geographies across the country, specifically California. We would have loved to buy a well functioning business in that geography, but that opportunity just didn't exist. So we wanted to find another path to get to that business. And so our entry point was this Medicaid platform in California that was generating some cash flow and doing some things that we thought were potentially valuable for that state where we knew the opportunity was scaled.And really capabilities around the Medicare population and doing this in a non-California market, which was Hawaii.
