There is some evidence that medial arch supports can be beneficial for helpin the symptoms there in those patients. Unfortunately, if we look for research evidence specific in people with petel ephemeral joint osto arthritus, there's actually very little. In fact, i can really only think of some very small pilot feasibility studies that have looked at arch supports. And although itwas very small study, so we can't read a lott ing to the data, really didn't see a lot of differences with respect to pain.
