When I was a doctor working in the NHS, what I was impressed by is the amount of goodwill. People really invest so much of their personal time, effort and energy to ensure patients are looked after. They're always going above and beyond and it is inspirational. There are daily acts of heroism in the hospital that I was working in but across the country as well. The challenges though are the NHS at that point, so this is going back to 2013. We had already been through a few years of funding challenges because we were coming out of the economic crisis.
