How to Get the Most Out of Your Training

The best workout to use a heart rate monitor for is your easy run. I generally don't care what their heart rate is in their higher tensities, as long as it feels like what their doing was sustainable at the effort they are supposed to be running and pace an effort were also in line. So with that, i use the standard, you know, 75 % of your maximum heart rate. And from there, you can work backwards and reverse engineer different percentages of that maximum to get certain paces.
