Do Repetitive Thoughts Lead to a Loss of Motor Control?
The good news is that repetitive thoughts, while they can lead to an inhibition of impulse control speech, don't generally lead to a loss of motor control. People who have violent intrusive thoughts of harming others or harming self might be concerned that that means they might actually follow through with those plans. But there's very little indication that there's any loss of impulse control when it comes to actually following through with these ideations.
