Intensive Threshold Training for Athletes

We're talking intensive for those wanting increase their f t p power. In particular, intensive threshold training is a great way to do this. Typically, i use workouts like four by eight minutes, or four by ten minutes at the upper end of zone four and low end of zone five. This is meant to increase your lactate to really increase o your f t p in the end. But it is intense. I mean, in terms of an r p e, or rate perceived effort, on a scale of one to ten, this is eight, going on nine out of ten.
