I Learned So Much From My Grandmother

My grandmother was a very large woman but she was a very skilled dancer and she loved to dance. She used to say often never walk when you can dance so I learned so much from her. A man showed up at my mother's back door one day saying he didn't have a house, that he had a tree branch in the rough shape of a cross around his neck. My grandmother invited him into her kitchen and while he was sitting there eating she asked him his name and he said my name is Jesus now. He stayed seven years after my uncle told me that story. There are many stories like that about your grandmother almost every day," says Oprah Winfrey.
