When we attempt to quiet our thoughts and tell our thoughts to go away, as many of us do, when approaching meditation, again, they're going to be louder. Meditation is actually supposed to be pretty uncomfortable. It's about tolerating and accepting and sitting with what comes up for you. And it is not about forcing thoughts down.
