The mind wants to believe that there's an exact way to do it. And I can't really say that there is because I've seen it happen in so many different ways. This fixation lasts longer than that initial one, say, getting over the idea or getting over the perception that your fears are not just thoughts,. That's that sort of initial fear barrier and talking yourself out of it. Once you go, okay, those are a bunch of thoughts.
