I think suppressing my feelings was something I learned very young and not like they were a sign of weakness. And the more you tell yourself throughout your life that you're not a weak person, you're a strong person. But then you actually encounter real difficult human traumatic situations or not traumatic and just hard because not everything is trauma. Then it's like almost in conflict with that narrative of like, I'm strong. Nothing bothers me. This is a flawed episode. God forbid.
