"Flux training" is the idea of using traditional workouts in a new manner to use them in a flux type of way. We traced the history of kind of our current modern concept aerobic to Dr. Kenneth Cooper, who essentially quantified off of heart rate. Steve remind me of Van Eken's coach in the heart rate phenomena or start the heart rate. And then we had all these really fancy markers that came out like VO2 Max. But while they're really important and do have value, we ended up over indexing in them for a couple of decades.
