In 19 88, after a decade in purgatory, jack caught a tiny break. He got put in charge of the small squad that would investigate repeat offender robberies. His first target was this thing the cobs called wolf pack robberies. People who rode the subways were getting attacked by big groups of people. They'd run in and with either just their fists, or sometimes with knives or box cutters, they would just pommel the person to take everything they had.
