The Importance of Making Mistakes
The biggest mistake that sales leaders and sales teams often make in role play is they mistake practice for performance. The idea is that you as the rep are there to show off to your leader or manager how well you can do things, how smooth you are. But if we're to build awareness and to build new skills, we've got to slow down the tape. In deliberate practice, we're not trying to perform. We're trying to learn and develop new awareness.
