A lot of guys know that they're in the gym because of demons and therapy. So at some point you have to be intelligent about saying, look, I need this for therapy. But because I need it for therapy today, tomorrow, next week, next month, I'm going to be a little bit measured with how much I do. One hard set isn't going to fuck you up that much. Also, don't go really heavy. You can do a lot of sets of six submaximal work, six sets of six, no problem. If it's a few reps away from failure, you start grinding six, seven, eight reps close to failure. Those like a challenge
