How to Train Your Calf for Patellar Tendonopathy
When you plant your soleus is active at about 90% MVC because it's retarding the forward movement of your tibia. Your soleus is so important for change of direction. You've got to be blisteringly strong in your soleus, but also have to be very, very strong in your gastroc as well. So if you would focus absolutely on both, and in patellar tendonopathy, we make sure our soleus is really, really strong and has great strength endurance.
