Being Kind to Oneself Is Not Rocket Science

Self compassion is not rocket science. You don't have to sit and meditate for 30 minutes a day to learn it. Being kind to oneself looks very similar to how you'd be kind to someone else. We already know what kindness feels like, we just have to give ourselves permission to do it with ourselves. Use a warm tone of voice as opposed to a harsh sort of voice, you know, warm, kind,. again, just so you would naturally do this to a child or a friend you cared about. It's easy, it's simple and it's amazingly powerful.
