There are times where these things don't work out. I actually talk about this with ihave a client who im struggles her self esteem. She doesn't really allow people to know her because it's really scari then she can be rejected. But if you start to let people in, easier said than done. That's why we're friends with some people and not others. It's ok to be discerning. And you find safety around what that rejection might feel like. Then when somebody does accept you, and somebody does want to be close to you, oh, my got it feels so much better right now. Soi use e elements of it in all our work, truthfully
