Timothy Stanley: CBD firstly emerged on the sleep map in the 1970s, much later than THC. He says there's not enough data to go on record to suggest that CBD is the Shangri-Laure of good sleep at night. But it does seem to be able to potentially increase the amount of deep, non-rem sleep that one gets, he says.Stanley: In lower doses, you actually get a wake promoting effect where CBD will actually make you more alert.
