Vincent Trazov had already begun dressing up in his homemade papier-mâché, Mr. Peanut outfit for various art projects. In 1974, disgusted at both parties that were running for the mayor ality of Vancouver, he entered himself as Mr. Pe peanut and he appeared at every debate in his Mr.Peanut outfit. And he lost.
