Can I Run a Half Marathon Race in Training?

You should always taper for the big race. Your taper is a part of your training cycle and you need to taper. In what I call fun run situations, right? You're not really training for anything. The week of your race, definitely not trashing your legs leading up to the race. Probably want to reduce any heavy lifting that you're doing the day before the race.
