How to Slow Down and Listen to Your Body
The freeze response is the pattern in our life when we shut down when we don't feel safe. One thing that is required to change the freeze response is time. Start by building in moments to slow down and get curious about what comes up when you slow down. Get curious about the uncomfortable sensations, perhaps the emotions,. Perhaps pain, tears, or even anger. These can all show up when we give that time to our body.
