The Parasympathetic Reactivation in Cryotherapy for Sleep

Chrytherapy has been investigated in lots of different contexts, so as we're talking today, most of it is around sport and performance. There's a couple of different papers that have shown that exposure to cold can actually improve sleep quality and sleep parameters in healthy individuals. So if there is an additional benefit of cryotherapy for sleep, that might be another consideration, especially for athletes who don't have good sleep patterns or good sleep hygiene already. That could be another way that they could try and have a drug free approach to getting a better night's sleep.
