Is Bitcoin a Consensus Mechanism?

A lot of us are not super technically savvy and we defer to, you know, the so-called experts. And then if there's enough kind of loose social consensus that they have it more or less right than everyone's like, "Oh, I guess it's cool then" So an unfortunate process existence. Consensus is the ultimate problem of civilization versus the individual. There's no formalized way to issue a soft fork. It's like 30 years before fiat is dead and you have to start over. Like our monetary system has gone under gone foundational changes like four times. Three, two, three, arguably three, maybe four times in the last year.
