Operation Croissant
Operation Croissant was an Anglo-French operation to try and influence the vote. Campaign group gave out croissants with pro-EU messages written on postcards. Police stopped them saying it's illegal to use food, drink or entertainment to influence a vote. They issued a statement saying they were happy to fall on our baguettes.
