I think that the essence of radical candor is about creating a good productive relationship between a boss and an employee. And so I think we fear that sharing this kind of feedback is going to pose a risk nine times out of 10, but it's going to go better than you think. If you're having lunch with someone and they have spinach in their teeth, then the right thing to do is to tell them,. if you don't tell them, then they're going to go to the bathroom later and see it in the mirror.
