How Did the Original Indo European Period End?

Historians tend to use 25 hundred b c, give or take a few centuries, as the end of the original end european period. But there are clues buried within some of the original indo european words that we've looked at in some of the earlier episodes. The key here is woven wool. Woven wool textiles and fabrics did not exist before four thousand b c, and some archaeologists believe that they didn't ist before 35 hundred b c. So these people apparently had domesticated sheep with wool which was long enough for woollen fabrics and textiles.
