Neurons Fire - The More They Fire, the More Efficiently They Fire
Neurons are covered in a protein sheath called milin. Milin is important because it both protects neuron, but also enables neurons to fire more efficiently. The larger the diameter of the neuron, the more flexibly and adaptively that neuron can fire. By increasing their sheer number, we can grow new neurons. And thirdly, we can growing them in greater connection, one with the other. All of this represents neuroplastic change. It really tells us that we do not have to be left,. Not only just with our stroke responses, but we don’t have to been left with the stories that we tell ourselves about ourselves.
