Do Individualization Require Many Approaches?

The programs that failed the most in terms of education achievements were those oriented to individual needs of instruction. The popular belief that it is necessary to teach different students in different ways is for the most part a fiction. There can be no question that smart adults can organize and sequence experiences that will teach concepts and problem solving skills better than children because children don't really have an instructional understanding like pedagogy does.
