Mental toughness can be defined as mental sensitivity. Being mentally sensitive is very useful in certain situations, says Dr Peter Crouch. High performers will often rest on three or four areas of their mental toughness. But they may also have a low level of mental toughness on another area. And that might be something like emotion or control. So this notion of mental toughness and mental sensitivity is critically important.
