Satisficers take criteria and as soon as something meets their criteria, they will act. maximizers are people who want to make the best possible choice. Max managers would be like well it has these five things, but maybe I could also get those five things close if I keep looking and looking and looking. The people who are satisficers are more satisfied with their decisions and they have less regret and second guessing later than the maximizers.
