How to Deal With Anxiety
Anxiety is a very unpleasant emotion. It's like free floating fear or the free floating anxiety, not about anything in particular. And it took me so long to realize that even though I knew it was there and I thought I was being mindful of it, I was not because I was seeing it to the filter of wanting to get rid of it. So an image which might help people find that space within themselves: imagine how you would be with a child who has been experiencing a lot of anxiety. You probably would not be saying, Oh, that's terrible, you shouldn't be feeling that. No, you would finally just be there in a loving, supportive way.
