Question Answer IX

Undeceptions with John Dickson

CHAPTER

The Problem of Evil

My questions relate to kind of the inverse of the problem of evil. How could the afterlife and the new creation be good given that there would be no sorrow or anything negative? I can imagine the first 50 years would be enjoying the burden free living, but what about after 1000 years? Being a Finn and an enjoyer of the blues, it's quite hard to think of a good life without trouble and hard times to overcome and look back to. Why didn't God already create this world to be completely good?
