The Unusual Dichotomy of Protein Quality in Sport Nutrition

I don't think really anybody in the contemporary sporting world it really believes that you need proteins whether they're from plants or animals as a key energy substrate for high intensity exercise. The whole discussion surrounding that weird dichotomy just made no sense to me because I eat generally speaking a pretty high carb diet with all sorts of animal proteins all throughout it so it just a lot of wasted effort that didn't make a lot of sense. They kind of like threw out the entire concept of protein quality as like a just completely not useful concept whatsoever and in sport nutrition that's that's just not what what the evidence would indicate.
