The first mental habit that I want you to create is the habit of self-compassion. Oftentimes, we are self-critical in situations where we're learning something new. A cue for self-criticism can also be when you've made a mistake or you've kind of made an error in some way. Some of the reasons why we develop a self-critical habit has to do with our brain is to be focused on the negative and more critical in our learning history.
