Most of us breathe too much, says Love. Over breathing is when you take in more air than your body needs. Some people with anxiety and asthmatics tend to breathe through their mouths. We don't need to be breathing that much at rest - even if it's just a few breaths per minute. This is an exercise to acclimate your body to breathe more slowly.
