"I never seriously considered taking another math class because math was ridiculous right and it's like if I was meant to be a mathematician that wouldn't bother me," he says. "It has to be like ramen ujin having like the Hindu gods come to him in his dreams and like pursuing it in that way basically." He goes on to talk about why he majored in mathematics partly because it was kind of the default thing to do, but more than anything just how hard it is to sustain or compete with your passion for something you love.
