The Importance of Having an Error Budget
The idea of an error budget is we are going to allow ourselves some amount of failure. So you have this bucket of money, this bucket of error that you're allowed to spend. The important part about this is knowing that it's over time and keeping track of it. And what we really care about is not the height of that error budget, right? We actually care about how fast you're spending it.
