It helps the physician. Now the physician can tell the family, here's why your loved one died. And I say, okay, now we're going to do the premortem. Everybody just relax. Sit back in your chairs. Let's talk about some of the tools that we can use to reduce errors. Maybe we can start with a premortum. What is it? Why is it useful?"
