How Did Computers Come to Be?

As early as the fifties and sixties, people would try creating games on evenings and week ends. By the seventies, you started to get these little micro communities popping up around places where there were main frames that you culd axa. It took computers getting into enough spaces that you had little communities of people cropping up using them before you really saw a games and an innovation kind of start happening. The wumpus came out of a place called the people's computer center that was set up in california by a group who felt that computers should be put in the hands of everyday people.
