These empty, non-purpose backed things take us away from focusing on bigger, more impactful missions. Our brain is designed to seek out new challenges and experiences. When we engage in repetitive tasks, we are not providing our brain with the mental stimulation it craves. And this leads to a decrease in cognitive function and an increase in fatigue.
