Paying Smokers to Quit Smoking Can Help You Quit
Researchers recruited 19 hundred smokers from doctors offices and callers to the wisconsin tobacco quit line. Smokers were randomly assigned to either a control group or an incentive group. After six months, nearly 22 % of people were still smoke free compared to about 14% in the control group.
