The Importance of Blood Pressure

Blood pressure is essentially the force that your blood pushes out against the walls of your blood vessels specifically your arteries as your heart pumps blood. You want to be under 120 over 80 all year long and then what's considered high blood pressure or hypertension is if you are over 130 over 80 so this doesn't have a lot of wiggle room now. Anything over those numbers and you're putting stress on that highway system that's going to build up over time, he says.
