The Argument for a Soft Landing

The currency is so freaking flexible. It's such a good shock absorber. At a 40 cent Australian dollar, large parts of Australia are just flying. I'd be very surprised if unemployment didn't have a seven in front of it at worst. The pain will be selectively not generally applied at that point. But the answer is the Australian dollar can fall far enough that large sections of the economy just fly.
