The Intrinsically Political Nature of Islam and Its Differences from Christianity
Islam is inherently political, aiming to control all aspects of life and society unlike Christianity which has a distinct separation of church and state. The early Muslims had immediate access to political power, unlike early Christians who were oppressed outsiders. This fundamental difference shapes the core nature of the two religions and influences their historical development.
