Explicación del concepto de Umwelt.

The concept of Umwelt explores the subjective experiences of different organisms and how their sensory perceptions shape their unique worlds. This idea was first introduced by the theoretical biologist Jacob von Uchskull in 1934. According to von Uchskull, each organism has its own 'whom-welt,' or private world, which is shaped by the cues it can sense and act upon. For example, the umwelt of a tick is limited to just a few cues such as light, acid, heat, and smoothness, which guide its behavior and interactions with the environment. Von Uchskull's concept emphasizes that every organism, from the simplest to the most complex, experiences the world with equal completeness, but in its own unique way.
