Visibility of System Operations

Having a transparent view of system operations through a trace UI in the dashboard enables a clear understanding of the end-to-end trace from service A, service B to a database call. Integrating open telemetry and libraries into tools improved visibility without the complexity of wiring up containers and yaml files. The default inclusion of end-to-end trace in the application provided a significant insight into the work done over the years. Not understanding the system's operations and relying solely on defaults may pose risks, sparking debates between appreciating productivity enhancements and concerns about abstraction layers.
